Here are the Finalists for Miss Russia 2010!
The TV broadcast for the final of Miss Russia 2010 will be held March 8 on the Russian TV channel NTV. Beautiful Russian girls from 51 regions in Russia will compete in the final for the crown and the title of Miss Russia 2010. The winner will receive a $100,000 grand prize award from Russian Standard Bank. Also, Miss Russia 2010 will represent Russia at the two largest and most prestigious international beauty contests – “Miss World 2010″ and “Miss Universe 2010″.
The girls will be competing for a new crown this year, which was unveiled on March 2nd and is being called the most expensive beauty pageant crown in the world. The crown, created by Yuvelirny Teatr (Jewelry Theater), is made from white hallmark 750 gold and contains 2,358 diamonds totaling 62 karats. Another highlight is the 14 beautiful pearls which adorn the crown, the largest being 19 mm. In attendance at the ceremony were Miss Russia 2009, Sofia Rudyeva and the founder and CEO of the Jewelry Theater jewelry house, Maxim Voznesensky. You can see pictures of the crown below.
