The “Miss Russia” competition is the most famous and prestigious beauty contest in Russia. For many years this competition has been considered much more than a traditional beauty contest. The organizers of the competition showcase to the world the most beautiful girls from all of Russia.

The contestants are selected not only for their beauty, but their grace, elegance, and intelligence. Nowadays, the “Miss Russia” competition has acquired a global scale. The winner of the contest will represent Russia in International Beauty Contests such as “Miss World” and “Miss Universe.”

St. Petersburg holds the record for the most winners of the Miss Russia Competition – in 1993 Anna Baychik, in 2001, Oxana Fedorova (also Miss Universe), in 2009 – Sofia Rudeva.
