Final of the Miss Russia 2010 – Saint-Petersburg Casting

On Saturday, December12th, 17 beautiful Russian girls competed for access to the pre-final of the “Miss Russia 2010” beauty contest.

The gala competition for Miss Russia – St. Petersburg became one of the highlights of this winter and showcased the beauty and elegance that has become synonymous around the world with Russian girls.

The event was attended by Russian celebrities, local business elite, and an energetic crowd of individual supporters. The jury consisted of professionals in the field of fashion and style, the arts and culture, and business representatives.

In the historical center of St. Petersburg, in the glamorous Golden Garden Hotel, the participants had to demonstrate everything they had learned during the preparation for the contest with famous fashion-directors, photographers, and stylists. The contestants were asked unexpected and questions from the jury and random questions from the audience.

The girls competed in three categories:

Evening gowns

Fashion parade in a bikini

Personal interview in a dress

For some contestants it was their first beauty pageant experience, as not all participants of the contest were professional models. All finalists received new knowledge and gifts from sponsors and partners, and voting for the winner was hosted online by RusKey Biz on our Blog.

The jury had intended to select only three winners, but the elegant Russian girls were so beautiful that five participants were chosen as finalists: Olga Vyatkina, Victoria Bogoslavtseva, Alena Moskalik, Ksenia Polyanskaya and Ekatherina Bo.

In January among these 5 girls will be chosen the finalist who will represent St. Petersburg in the final of “Miss Russia – 2010” in March.

An official after-party was held in the same evening in the Begemot bar, where an alternative contest among the participants of the contest was organized, with the winner Regina Rakhimova receiving $1000.

The finalists for Miss Russia – St. Petersburg – 2010 have been chosen. The final qualifying round of the National Contest “Miss Russia” – St. Petersburg will be held on December 12, 2009 at Golden Garden Club. These girls will compete for the chance to represent Saint-Petersburg in the “Miss Russia 2010″ competition in Moscow.
